Assiniboia Downs Gaming
Assiniboia Downs Gaming is a horseracing track and gaming lounge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that features harness, quarter horse and thoroughbred racing. The track's Club West Gaming Lounge, located on the second floor, has 140 video lottery terminals (VLTs).
Assiniboia Downs' live thoroughbred racing season is usually held from May through October. Races are held on Friday and Saturday evenings and also on Sunday afternoons. Meanwhile, the Club West Gaming Lounge is open daily from 9am-2am. Complimentary coffee is even provided on non-race days.
In addition to the live racing season, Assiniboia Downs also simulcasts thoroughbred and harness races year-round, seven days a week from major tracks in North America and Australia.
All of Assiniboia Downs' live and simulcast races is also available on Shaw Cable in Winnipeg on Channel 88 and on MTS Television on Channel 195. All of the live and simulcast races can also be viewed and wagered on in the popular race book area located on the track's second floor.
