Grand River Raceway and Slots
Grand River Raceway, Canada's newest racing and gaming destination, is located in the south end of the lovely village of Elora, Ontario and just minutes away from the historic town of Fergus. The area is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, a natural wonderland of towering pines, glacial rock formations and the majestic Grand River.
Grand River Raceway is owned and operated by the Woolwich Agricultural Society (W.A.S.). The W.A.S. is a not-for-profit corporation, incorporated under the Agricultural Societies Act of Ontario and operated by a volunteer board of directors.
Live harness racing is held at Grand River Raceway from April to October. The raceway also offers daily harness and thoroughbred simulcasts through four teletheatres.
